I stayed here with a friend, we made a mistake on the booking which was all our fault and they changed us rooms (to a bigger room) for no extra charge! large rooms clean and friendly staff.

There is a little road noise, but you are right in the middle of the city, and breakfast not that great but is for free so all in all nice stay

The staffs are really nice and very helpful esp the front office girl, ms Long. She gave us many information and helped us arranging our tours there and gave us many advise as we found difficulties to communicate with vietnamese (many of them cant speak english). The freewifi also great, help us communicating with others as our simcard has no service there.

The breakfast is @ 6th floor and no elevator so we had to use stairs :-)

I stayed at their triple room for only us$26 per night (so it's around us$9 per person!). With that price, you will be surprised on what you get from this hostel. Excellent room with good air conditioning, tv that has international channel like mtv, hbo, etc, very good WiFi, room cleaning service every day, friendly staff, free breakfast, spacious bathroom, you name it. This hostel located at Bui Vien street, only 2 minutes from the famous Pham Ngu Lao street. Circle K is located beside them. The staffs were so friendly, especially the girl behind the receptionist desk (Long). She treated us like a friend and the other staff (Son and Hoi) were o helpful during our stay. I would love to stay in this hostel the next time I visit Ho Chi Minh. Brava!

No elevator :( It took me sweaty to reach the 7th floor because the breakfast was served on their rooftop.

It's a sure value for your money. You can get all the admenities with few meter away..food...clothing..pubs...tours..lots of other stuff. I will definitely stay in koniko during my next visit.
